YM Project KNOWLEDGE

Heather and Hannah McKane's Young Women project for the value "Knowledge".
They were inspired by some of the communities Vacation Bible Schools they attended since they moved to Thomasville in 2007. They called the activity "Scripture School". and wanted the children in our ward to learn more about and become familiar with scripture stories from the Old Testament, New Testament and Book of Mormon.  They read from the scriptures stories of Shadrac, Meshac, and Abednego, some parables that Jesus Christ told, then about Captain Moroni and the Title of Liberty, and the 2000 Stripling Warriors. The whole project was a lot of work and a lot of fun!! They say they couldn't have done it without help from the youth and primary children for attending!
