Boy Scouts Host Yard Sale

Thomasville Ward Boy Scouts 

held a great Yard Sale this morning

with funds raised going to worthy causes 

including Scout Camp.

Tonight the Young Women gathered at 

The Thomasvile Ward 

for a YW Telecast from Salt Lake City. 

Priot to the telecast, they were served dinner

by the preisthood.

Relief Society Enrichment Evening

Our Relief Society Birthday was celebrated with an awesome enrichment night for the ladies and their guests.

The theme centered around Purses, which covered the entry table!

 Twelve tables were decorated with each table depicting a month of the year. Each lady, on arrival, sat at the table of her respective birth so they could all get to know each other better. 

They played a few games, including one that had everyone scattered about looking for someone that liked oysters, or someone that has lived abroad and many other categories that created a lot of new friends and laughter. Another game included questions about the history of Relief Society! While the questions were in progress, the leaders actually came around and weighed all of the purses with a prize given for the heaviest and the lightest. A special *scavenger hunt* had all of the ladies searching their purses for particular items, with the one having the most also choosing a prize. 

A special song about Purses was sung by all and dinner was served by the RS Presidency. 

Afterward, a beautiful *Purse* cake was cut and served.

NeSmith Funeral

Memorial Services for Anna Elizabeth NeSmith were held at Thomasville Ward where she had been a member since 1978. She held many callings over the years including Relief Society Teacher, Seminary Teacher and Librarian.
Sister Nesmith is survived by daughter April Hughes (Randy) and their children Cody and Skylar, all of Albany as well as a brother, Glenn Page (Patricia) of New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her father Gilbert E Page and a brother Gilbert L Page.

Orlando Temple Trip

The Youth went to Orlando Temple today for Proxy Baptisms and Confirmations.

They were accompanied by their adult leaders, parents and several other members of the Ward.

Christina Chihuahua Smith

Services for Christina Smith were held today at the Thomasville Ward where she was a member and is recalled as having a loving spirit, warm heart and big smile.
Christina was the daughter of Alvarez Chihuahua and wife Cynthia of Del Rio, Texas and Dennice Simpson Dinkins and husband Keith of Cairo. She was the wife of Nathan Smith and the Mother of Grey Smith, sister of Alejandro, Eric (Samantha) , Jessica (Riley), and Shannon (Kristen) who preceded her in death.  Christina was the Gran-daughter of Mabel Simpson who survives,  and Jerry Simpson, Alejandro Rodriguez, and Antonioa Canalez who also preceded her.
 She was Aunt to Kaleb, Jasmin, Bruce, Addison, Sophia, Colton, Dani, Annabelle, Daisy, Tyler and Zoe.
She will surely be missed by all!
