Michele Rene Howard Guynn Obituary




Services for Michele Rene Howard Guynn, 50 of Thomasville are 3pm, Monday, December 19 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she was a member. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Guynn passed away December 14, 2011 at Archbold Hospital. Born January 1, 1961 in St. Petersburg, Fl. She is survived by her parents Harry S. Howard and Patricia A. Maring Howard both of Inverness, Fl. She was married to Wallace Guynn who also survives. Mrs. Guynn was employed with the Florida Department of Transportation. Other survivors include children, Christopher Hostetler of Mesa, AZ, Robert Hostetler of Orlando, Fl and Sarah Guynn of Thomasville; grandchild, Sterling Hostetler; brothers, David Howard of Queens Creek, AZ, John Howard of Witcha, KN, Eric Howard of Houston, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 -2:30pm before the service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Dorothy Smith Obituary

Graveside services for Dorothy Emma Smith, 91, of Ochlocknee are at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at White Family Cemetery on Lee White Road, Ochlocknee. Bishop Charles H. King, Ben Smith and Phillip Smith will officiate. Pallbearers are Ben Smith, Jacob Smith, J.L. White, Lee White, Brice Smith and Marvin Beiler. Mrs. Smith died Dec. 4, at her residence. Born Nov. 23, 1920, Thomas County, Ga., she is the daughter of the late William Newton Smith and Nellie Green White. She attended Pebble Hill School, Valdosta State College and graduated from the University of Georgia with her degree in home economics. She was a homemaker and worked for 10 years at the Geneological Society at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a member of the Thomasville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include nephew and spouse, Phillip and Teresa Smith of Ochlocknee; niece, Rhonda Smith of Ochlocknee and Rhonda’s late husband, Randall Smith, a nephew; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
